We are pleased to announce that our free Job Interview Coaching (JIC) initiative targeting young Gambians about to enter the workforce was launched on Wednesday 19th September 2018 at the Kairaba Beach Hotel, Senegambia. The event was attended by over 130 young enthusiastic participants. Our event was given a bigger platform as we partnered with the Africa Governance Institute’s (AGI) Skills Enhancement Training for Youth Empowerment and Development’s two-day workshop in The Gambia; in partnership with the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI). Our Lead Consultant gave a brief description of the coaching initiative and its relevance to the working environment. She touched on her passion and drive to transform the Gambian workplace into a more professional space. We were excited to have an amazing and fired up group of youth present there and be eager about our coaching service. Our guest speakers, Oumie Ceesay, HR Manager at Qcell and Hally Mass Jobe, Managing Director of Atlas Energy Gambia did an amazing job sharing their experiences. Oumie Ceesay delivered a very interesting talk on appearances and first impressions during interviews. Hally Mass shared his experiences building ones confidence.
